I first got introduced to Young Living in 2018. At first, I wasn’t too sure about oils, I had no clue how they worked and what they were used for. And then I realized it was so much more than just oils. It was a way of life. They offered clean alternatives to the products I use every day. So I did more research and learned about how many toxins are in the stuff I was using, I decided to dive a little deeper and get serious about swapping some of my chemical filled products for safe, clean options.
Young Living makes it super easy to shop for and switch out your cleaners, supplements, shampoos, and beauty products. And with their Seed To Seal promise, you can be sure that all of their products are exactly what they say they are, safe and natural.
I made a list of some of my favorites. I couldn’t put down every single one of them, we’d be here for a while. But if you are wanting to get rid of some of the products in your home that are a major cause for so many illnesses and health problems and aren’t sure where to start, I hope this will help guide you and give you some insight

Thieves Laundry Soap
One of the easiest ways to ditch and switch. Thieves laundry soap is made with plant-based cleansers that are safe for sensitive skin. It’s made without formaldehyde, dyes, and synthetic fragrances. Everything we put on our skin is absorbed into our bodies. I love that this brand of laundry soap is safe and effective for my family.

Ningxia
Ningxia is a delicious antioxidant drink. It’s infused with essential oils, helps maintain normal cell function and contains no artificial sugar. So I can feel good about drinking it AND giving it to my kids, (they love it too.) It also gives you long lasting energy, and helps support your mood. I drank this while postpartum with my 4th baby and noticed a huge difference in my mood and energy compared to my previous postpartum experiences.

Inner Beauty Collagen
Collagen is a protein responsible for healthy joints and skin elasticity. As we get older, our collagen breaks down, and it gets harder for our bodies to make more. This is why it’s good to start taking a supplement or powder to help maintain healthy hair, skin, and joints. I like Young Livings collagen because it has no taste, so I just mix it in my coffee and I can’t even tell its in there.

Thieves Household Cleaner
This has replaced all of the cleaners I used to buy, like Windex, Lysol, Mr. Clean etc. I use Thieves on my counters, tables, floors, toilets (my least favorite job) and it cleans my windows just as good as Windex! I love the fact that I don’t have to worry about the strong chemical smell, or my family breathing in toxins, and it’s safe to use around my littles. They will even use it when they help me clean. Also, it smells like Christmas. So so good!

Kidscents – Tummygize
This is one that we reach for a lot in our house. When any of my kids have an upset stomach, or if they are having trouble going to the bathroom, I put this on their tummy. With a blend of ginger, tangerine and fennel, it’s perfect for a day after too much sugary foods or tummys that get upset on long car rides.

Thieves Essential Oil
Thieves oil is what I consider a must-have. It is a combination of Clove, Lemon, Cinnamon Bark, Eucalyptus Radiata and Rosemary essential oils. It’s great for promoting a healthy immune system and fighting off viruses. The Thieves line of household products contain this oil, so while you are cleaning your home, you are also spreading that healthy goodness all over your house; pretty cool, right!! You can put this in your diffuser with Lemon to help clean the air. I like to make rollers for my kids with a few drops of Thieves, Lemon and I recently added in Oregano oil, its another really good one to fight off sickness, and I just top it off with a carrier oil, like coconut, or you can use any oil of your choice. Young Living makes a carrier oil called V6. I like to use that too.

Kidscents – Kidpower
Kidpower is a new one for us, but from the first time we smelled it, we were obsessed. I wish smellivision was a thing because, man, oh man, it’s a good one. It’s a great oil for emotions and big feelings. Promotes positive feelings for littles. I like to put a drop on my kids’ inner arms, and they rub them together. When you breathe it in, it’s instantly calming and uplifting, so it’s a really good one for moms and kids. You can also put a drop on their neck, back, or wrists. It’s an amazing oil all around!

If you’re looking to switch out the toxic products in your home for safe, clean options, then I hope you found this post helpful.
